- Born and raised in Toronto, now settled in Cobourg
- Married, dad to 4 boys and grandpa to 9
- Was long distance runner but now avid cyclist
- Enjoy driving my Miata on sunny days
- Play tenor saxophone and ukulele, learning guitar
- Love music, especially big band and oldies
- Volunteer in local community theatres
- Love to cook, try new recipes and eat
- Licenced pilot, enjoy flying
- Enjoy travelling with my wife in our travel trailer

- Former Toronto Beaches Lion Club member, Lion of the year and member of clown troupe
- Life Celebration Specialist and member of OAPWO (Ontario Association of Professional Wedding Officiants)
